2023年3月20日，Web of Science核心期刊目录再次更新！此次2023年3月SCIE & SSCI期刊目录更新，与上次更新（2023年2月）相比，共有50本期刊被剔除出SCIE & SSCI期刊目录（其中有10本是期刊信息更改），另有2本新增SCIE、SSCI期刊。

上一次更新中，就已更改名称为：Gas Science and Engineering和Geoenergy Science and Engineering，但本次更新旧的名称才被剔除。
剔除期刊：
本次更新，共有35本期刊被剔除SCIE数据库，其中包括影响因子7.310：Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity期刊。
被剔除的35本期刊中，有10本曾在过去3年被中科院预警。
出版社方面：
Hindawi出版社中，有多达18本期刊被剔除，可以说是最大的输家。
但此次大规模剔除行为，在学点小编看来Hindawi是早有预料的。早在今年的3月9号，Hindawi母公司就曾发布通告，指出由于“同行评议受损”，本杂志社将暂停出版特刊，并表明出版社将进行整改的决心。
